2023-2024 SEASON INFORMATION
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING AS THIS IS VITAL INFORMATION FOR THE UPCOMING SEASON.
REGISTRATION
Skaters and goalies should first register with their home association and pay their appropriate registration fees. Registration for the girls programs will close on August 15th. Please note, the level for which a player is registered for on August 15th is the level that she must tryout for and participate in for the 2023-24 season.
ACTION ITEM
In addition to registering with your home association, all families must ALSO register their daughters on the Marauders website www.maraudershockey.org. This is a non-monetary registration and where all communications, schedules, and ice times will be posted.

1. Click on PROGRAMS at the top of this page
2. Select your appropriate age level
3. Click on the REGISTER button on the far right and follow the prompts
4. A confirmation will pop up and you will receive a confirmation email
COACHING
The deadline for submitting head coaching applications for the 2023-24 season is August 15th, 2023. We are also accepting assistant coaching applications. For more information click here.
JERSEYS, EQUIPMENT AND SPIRIT WEAR
New practice/tryout jerseys are mandatory for the upcoming season and will be automatically included in your registration. Game socks will also be automatically included in your registration (with the ability to opt out for goalies).
Game jerseys only need to be purchased if you are new to the program or need a new size.
Marauders jersey fitting dates are as follows:
July 19th: 5-8pm @ Mahtomedi DEC Warming House
August 2nd: 4-7pm @ Roseville Ice Arena
RMH players are encouraged to wear navy breezers, gloves and helmets. Those that have black will be allowed to wear black, however as new equipment is purchased please consider navy as that will be required at the RMH high school level.
The first apparel window is now open at Strauss. There will be three windows open to order from between now and November. Click on the link below to see more information and access the storefront. WARM-UP ICE
Warm-up ice times, which will lead up to tryouts, are included in your registration fees. Warm-up ice will consist of 5 hours minimum in September for 10U - 15U. Warm-up dates & times will be communicated at a later date.
TRYOUTS
The 10U, 12U & 15U tryouts are tentatively scheduled for October 8-15. We will send out further information with tryouts dates and times in future communications.
NEW THIS SEASON - 15U tryouts will be held BEFORE RMH High School tryouts. If you later tryout, and are placed on the RMH High School JV or Varsity team, you will be refunded your Marauder registration fee (prorated to account for the time already skated). However, practice jerseys, game jerseys, and sock fees will not be refunded. ***If you do NOT tryout for 15U, and later decide to play 15U (i.e. after high school tryouts), you will NOT be eligible to play on the top 15U team.
NUMBER OF TEAMS AND LEVELS
Based on registration numbers, the Girl's Directors and the Co-op board will determine the number of teams at the 15U, 12U, and 10U levels. The 15U, 12U, and 10U teams' roster sizes will be determined based on the number of players registered at each level. Per District 2 and Minnesota Hockey rules, the Girls Directors will declare the levels in which those teams are placed (A, B1, B2) before each season. The co-op board will share the final declarations after they have been made to District 2 in September.
TOURNAMENTS
Each team will participate in four (4) tournaments, one of which will be out-of-town. We will release the tournament schedules for each team closer to tryouts.
DIBS
Mahtomedi families who play in the Marauder program are still required to complete DIBS in accordance to Mahtomedi Youth Hockey Association's rules. Please see the MYHA website for more information.
